The BFG - Movie Review

Thursday, December 15, 2016

A girl named Sophie encounters the Big Friendly Giant who, despite his intimidating appearance, turns out to be a kind-hearted soul who is considered an outcast by the other giants because, unlike them, he refuses to eat children. (IMDB)

What did I think?
I read the book when I was a kid, and although I do not remember much from it, I do remember that I really liked it. I am very happy to say that I also really liked this film adaptation. Most of the film does come off as your average modern kid's movie. The story goes back and forth between really good and almost boring. The best part of this film is the CGI of the giants, especially the BFG. You can see the kindness in his face.
